Members of the Big Bend Episcopal Mission, the Food Pantry of Alpine, The Crisis Center of Terlingua and the Big Bend Chamber Music Consort celebrate after the Dec. 2 concert to benefit the food pantries in Brewster County. The goal was to raise enough money to provide 5,000 meals. With the help of the benefit, funds were raised to provide more than 10,000 meals. This will be split equally between the Food Pantry of Alpine, which serves Alpine and Marathon, and The Crisis Center of Terlingua which serves all of South Brewster County.
