Tom Curry’s work for the Big Bend Gazette has once again made Politico.com’s weekly top political cartoons in the nation. Along with Tom’s work for the Gazette, Politico cited work in The Washington Post, The New York Times and the Boston Globe.
On July 3, Brewster County Deputies responded to a plane crash near Highway 118, North of Alpine. A cargo plane was attempting to return to the airport, due to mechanical problems, following takeoff. The pilot was transported for treatment. The crash is still under investigation.
