New Superintendent for Terlingua school

New Superintendent for Terlingua schools

The Terlingua Common School District has chosen current school principal and longtime teacher Regan Reed to be the new superintendent. In a statement to the Gazette school board president Scott Watkins said: “On Wednesday, February 28, the Terlingua school board unanimously declared Mr. Reagan Reed the lone finalist for the position of superintendent. The applications we received demonstrated that there are great administrators in small districts all over the state doing wonderful things for Texas students at the same time they gave us the perspective to better appreciate that Mr. Reed is right up there with the best of them. Combined with his years of dedication to our community and our school, and the faculty, staff, parents and community members who came to the meeting to voice their support for Mr. Reed, it was an easy decision that was a pleasure to make.”
